I was going to change my (appropriate) name for this but decided not to be ashamed!!
Saw a gynaecologist today about my prolapse, and he said that I would need a hysterectomy for it after I had finished having children (still not sure whether I want one more or not). He seemed to think it is quite severe, and said a repair would not be an option.
However I have heard of people with complete prolapses (which mine is not) having repairs and not needing hysterectomies.
Am now wishing I'd asked more questions. He is definitely not anti-repair as he was suggesting one before he examined me and then said it wouldn't be possible.
Can anyone advise?
