My mum is going to have an angiogram in 2 weeks because she has a blockage in her groin

When they find where is it they will attempt to move it

Apparently her doesn't have a pulse in her leg at all

I'd rather not google but I will if I have to

Has anyone any info?

Sounds like they are planning an angiogram with angioplasty. Essentially, the will insert a fine tube into the artery in her leg, and inject some dye into the artery. At the same time they will be taking a series of xrays, which will show up any narrowings oe blockages in the artery which are caused by a build up of cholesterol. If possible, they can do an angioplasty. This is where they will pass a catheter down the artery, to where the narrowing has occured. They inflate a balloon on the tip of the catheter, which squashes the cholesterol build up against the sides of the artery wall, allowing the blood to flow through the artery more easily. This is usually all done using a local anesthetic. If your mum is feeling anxious on the day, she could ask for a sedative to take the edge of her anxiety. HTH
