TMI Alert... Piles?

This is actually on behalf of my sister who isn't pregnant...

after she has been to the toilet she has bleeding, but she says it's more than just a drop and and her bum is sore (inside). She is worried it's something serious due to the amount of blood. She said it's about 3 big drops and sometimes more.

Anyone else experienced this?

I have piles and bleed when I go to the toilet. You can get cream for them that normally soothes the pain and itchiness and shrinks them up

She doesn't have itchiness, just a sharp pain when passing stools.

Do you mind if i ask if you had a lot of blood?

It varies really, there have been times where the toilet paper has been covered in it and other times where it's just a little bit.
Mine started when I was pregnant last time, and the first time I bled so much I thought I was having mc so rushed to the hospital
If it's alot, maybe a trip to the docs is best. They see it all the time. Might not be anything to worry about, but better to get checked. A family member of mine has IBS and bleeds a hell of alot....

She should go and get it checked in case it is something else. I was assumed to have pregnancy piles and it turned out to be rectal cancer. This is very unusual in women and in under fifties but bowel cancer as a whole is less unusual in young women.

It's not likely that this is the case but it's worth a little embarrassment. If she'd rather worry than have a finger up her bum you need to tell her she is being a silly cow .
