This is going to sound quite bonkers, but I think I may suffer from SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder).........

Sat here feeling lethargic and unmotivated (and knackered) again and was thinking I always seem to feel like this at this time of year....

And you know looking back that's when my "PND" or "depression" has generally been picked up. I'm usually motivated, getting stuff sorted, happy as larry in the summer, but winter - well I just seem to fall into a daze and everything seems to get harder to deal with, I get more ratty with kids and seem to fit most of the other symptoms too

Of course I could be imagining the whole thing, but it's just suddenly hit me this morning (not sure where from as haven't read/seen anything about SAD in ages). That the "worst" periods on my life always seem to occur over the winter months

FAQ It is not a silly idea. My DH had endless miserable winters and he is just such a loevely positive energetic person.

I got him one of those alarms which helps. Plus he watches his diet in winter and tries to keep processed food low which helps him too. And he makes sure he tries to get into daylight for half an hour during the day - which isn't always easy.

It is a genuine thing...

sorry you are feeling slungy
