they are called "milia" and are very common but a swine to get rid of

i pierce with a pin and squeeze.

not had them before - but have two now and as much as I cleanse, they are getting bigger... urgh

pin oucheroony - the skin there is soooooo thin

You're supposed to go to a beautician and get them sorted that way but yes it can cost money.

You need to go to a salon. It is about £15 to have them removed iirc.

DO NOT try and do it yourself.

If you are in Kent I can rec a lovely place.

ahhhh - I was worried by the pin idea....

my mum had some procedure at a beauty salon, have forgotten the name for it, it took about 6 sessions I think and was quite expensive

she was recommended laser for a permanent solution (but this was out of her price range) as anything else tends to lead to recurrence later on

hers have come back a bit about a year later

I have had these and tried the pin option which worked and they haven't come back. However, I wouldn't recommend it.

I would try a beautician first and see how it goes.

a beautician told me I was using a moisturiser that was too thick (I was using Vaseline body cream on my face at the time ). I changed my moisturiser and have stopped getting them. she also recommended I exfoliate regularly to quicken the natural removal of the old ones. I do confess to removing a few with a pin tho as I got too impatient but it was not a good look the next day...
