lol callme, i referred to the nurse earlier as the man with my drugs.

a for dd and dh, they are coping really well. she is normally such a mummies girl, it has done her good in a funny sort of way.

mind you, she turned up today in pj top, odd socks and really old leggings! gawd knows whatthe house is like but they seem happy.

Now I know you are sick - no one ever laughs at my jokes

Hope you are nicely drugged up by now and get a good night sleep.

Your DH sounds a bit like mine, DD goes to Nursery in the most god awful outfits! He does mornings as I leave for work early.

Happy New Year, I will pour you an Irish coffee later when we have ours X

cocolepew · 31/12/2008 22:47

sorry to hear this - sounds really painful. Have more virtual chocolate and good luck for the op! Unfortunate choice of posting name though!

GColdtimer · 04/01/2009 11:52

sorry I didn't get back tot the thread. I went home on Friday but went to my mum's for the night to get my bearings and a roast dinner. I came home yesterday and it is lovely. I am exhausted but managing quite well all things considered.

Amazingly enough, the house was spotless and DD is being an angel. At the moment!

Thanks for all your messages.

Herbie - I am trying to do that because I know I need to pace myself.
