Does medication need to go in a plastic resealable bag for customs/security?

Can he carry it on in a larger bag?

It's inhaler/tablets/nasal sprays etc

DH TRavels with a lot of medication too - type 1 diabetic. He carries it in his normal hand luggage. afaik, it's liquids that are considered a security risk so it's more likely to be toiletries that cause a problem rather than medication.

sorry, x posts

re labels, I don't think so, no. DH not around atm so I can't ask, but I don't remember him having to make any special arrangements for his medication. He carries his insulin pen on flights with no problems.

DH says that it should be ok,they will take them out and put them in clear plastic bags.

The only thing they don't like is liqueds over 100mls,such as shampoo etc.

He also says for more info go to the BAA Website.

BAA says the tablets don't need to go in the bag

But the inhalers do ......so that is 5
