Hi, for the past few weeks dd's (4) has had spots on her face, just pin prick spots which had come and gone. Not really bothered dd too much, i took her to docs and they said its just her skin and as she suffers with excema its related to that.

Anyway, this morning dd said her head really hurts all over and shes a little hot, her temp is 36, not too bad.

I checked her body and she has about 8 spots on her tummy, not like the spots on her face, they look like insect bites but i dont think they are, they arent itching her or bothering her,...

could anyone tell me if it could be chicken pocs???? Or what else

When she has a bath, put some porridge oats in a sock, with a rubber band round the top. Run the bath over the sock, so make the bath a bit cloudy. And then at the end of the bath, squeeze the bag of oats over the skin. Full of vitamin E and very soothing.

We used eurax cream I think. Also, lanacaine??? medicated talcum powder which is a bit mnethol-y and very soothing. But obviously you'll want to be careful what you put on skin if she has ecxzema.

Piriton antihistamine syrup very good for relieving itching. We used it at night time to help with sleep.

prettyfull we are posting about the same thing at the same time! our poor dds. have you got piriton medicine my dd happy to take it and i think it does help

WRT calamine, I found that the lotion dried the skin out too much and went all chalky. You can get calamine aqueous cream which is much gentler and more moisturising. Easier to apply too,
