Chestiness

Had a bad chest back in January/February, coughing so hard I was sick every morning and very sore, and was prescribed a ventolin inhaler and spacer. Use it once or twice since - when at altitude skiing for example. Now got a cough, starting to feel wheezy again and evry tired. Had a puff this morning but then thought is it likely to still be "good" and should I really be using it like this. Any advice please.

Your ventolin inhaler should have a use by date on it. If it's within the date it should be fine, I would give it a bit of a clean with hot water though. If not, I would go back to the docs for a new one and perhaps a check up to see if your wheeziness can be controlled.

I was prescribed an inhaler for a cough - it does nothing to help me at all.

How are they supposed to help? I think I must be thick or something!
