Only cows dairy as when he was tested that was the only think that he reacted too, so Goats, Sheeps Soya and Rice are fine. As he was older (4) he did not take to the taste of sheeps and goats though, I think they have quite a strong flavour so I know what he means! So we just stick to Soya. My dd was tested first at the hospital and came back with a total Cows allergy (Bovine) which the Knesiologist said he could also have. We then got him tested too and he is the same although different symptoms - my dd had terrible gastric probs for years - he stomach was ulcerated from the allergy

All I can say with the Soy is keep trying, it took months really for it to be accepted! The rice is quite nice though isn't it - after a while they forget what Cows dairy products taste like anyway - they now don't like the taste of cows milk!

Goats cheese is quite a strong (and aquired taste!) but you could start by just adding a bit grated to dishes? The Reggio Emilio one in Tesco's is exactly the same as Parmesan so great with Spag Bol,

Definetly try flavouring the milk - as I said before I still have to now! But if it gets some calcium into them (and protein) I don't mind.

My dd still reacts to Bovine products now - if she has it by accident, or if we are away and its difficult to find Soya. It just confirms to me how healthy she now is though when she avoids all beef, gelatine and dairy. She knows which sweets have it in etc now and is quite and expert (10). I think it will just have to be a way of life for her and to be honest with all the BSE probs its not the end of the world.

Funnily enough, when she was a baby, pureed beef was the only thing she would not even open her mouth too, which I thought was weird at the time!

Good luck tomorrow, lets hope that you get you dd sorted out and they come up with some solutions for you

The Osteopath that we used specialised in babies and children - can't believe they didn't sort that out over the phone! Are you going for allergy testing too?
