Contraception

OK, I'm trying to work out what contraceptive to go with... I'm breastfeeding 7-month-old, so I'm on Cerazette (mini pill) at the moment.

But I've just been reading up about contraception and, as a pro-life person, was horrified to read that pills, the Depo injection and the implant all might cause an early termination. Even if it's only a very small chance, I wouldn't want to risk it.

Does anyone here know about this stuff? Am I stuck forever with condoms, or sterilisation?

Any help gratefully received because I haven't managed to find any helpful info through Google.

You could go with condoms, cap diapragm as a barrier contraceptive.
The pill, combined or cerazette will work to prevent ovulation, the other mini pills work by making the cervical mucus too thick to allow sperm through.
The coil is the only one that truly still allows fertilisation of the egg but prevents implantation. As i've said the pill and depo etc work by preventing ovulation in the first place and by preventing a build up of womb lining.

Implant also supresses ovulation.
