Are they itchy too? I once caught ringworm on holiday and the first symptoms I had were patchy and itchy nipples. Can't tell you what fun it was having to constantly scratch my boobs in public....

eleanorsmum · 16/10/2008 08:17

My nipples went like this with both of my pregnancies.

Have you ever had eczema anywhere? I'm prone to it in other places and I once had eczema on both nipples which cleared up with a very sparing application of hydrocort ointment - it took a while to go though.

Mine wept slightly and went a little crusty (ewwwww I know!) but that was mainly because they itched and I couldn't help but scratch them sometimes. So doesn't sound quite like yours.

Hope it starts to fade quickly, as skin conditions often go as quickly as they came. If it doesn't, I'd see the doc, who's certain to have seen something like it before!

I have had eczema for years now very severe but never thought of thta.

I dont remember having this with DS before... but i dont remember not having it either

I have the implant thingy and oh no it is possible... but I doubt it not even thought about it!

i usually get this when weather turns colder, it is a sort of dermatitis rather than full blown eczema and goes away if i use lots of moisturiser.

but agree go to doc, i did the first time just to make sure it wasn't anything else.
