Do moles just appear by themselves? Is this normal?

It's just a mole. Wasn't there yesterday. Just a flat brown spot. Very odd.

Not a spot, it's flat and brown. I've never had one that's just appeared overnight. I didn't know they could do that. It's not a spot, it's completely flat and painless.

I don't want to see my GP . I've definetly never had sunburn where this mole is.

Defiently not a wart. ds has had a wart, looks nothing like it, it's titchy and flat, as in can't feel any difference between it and skin.

Thankyou. I always take care in the sun and have never let myself get burnt (only slightly on my shoulders twice). I have a mole on the inside of my leg (at the top!) they were going to remove ages ago but they never sent me an appointment. I do check them, I never knew one can just appear though.

OG I've done it again. I misread op as meaning the velvety little creatures underground. Was intrigued as I can't seem to get rid of mine which are quickly becoming a whole town of moles on my lawn.

I found out something interesting about moles recently. They come and go over your life, but the process is incredibly slow say over fifty years, and new moles are generally more common before about 40.

I think that with regards to moles, it is reaaly quite rare that there is a problem with moles. Particularly nonbleeding non itching kinds.
