Colic/wind

Hello to anyone who can reassure me that my almost 3 month old will get over this awful windy business loosly known as colic. He doesn't cry for hours on end but is clearly very bothered by it and so am I. He's in discomfort during the night and things really set off around 4-5am when he wriggles and thrashes before producing the most pathetic farts.....TELL THIS IS NORMAL PLEASE....I know it is really but I just can't see the light at the end of the tunnel!!

It's normal hun, my DS was very windy (we used to joke he takes after his dad lol), Have you tried any colic drops, might help ease it a little bit, we didn't have to use them for very long

Re. colic drops I gave him the equivelent of Infacol yesterday, once at lunch and again in the evening and we had the worst night ever I thnk! Before that I tried something here, (I live in Spain) called Colimil which is a herbal thing and that seemed to calm him a bit but went for the other following the doctor's orders.
I've gone back to the herbal stuff.
It seems that nothing can ease it completely. I thought that from 3 months it's supposed to get better but these last 24 hours have been dreadful. He feeds really messily as well when he's like this and gulps air down.

Colief really helped us. Infacol seemed to make her worse. She got better at about 4 months or so.

a friend's baby had the most unbelievable colic and nothing helped. it just suddenly got better around four months. hang in there!
