No idea how, he came downstairs crying (no bumps or thumps preceeding). Lower left canine is missing. Can't find tooth. Waiting for emergency dental co-ordinator to ring back. DS1 looks as if he is in agony. Howling the place down.

Any advice.

aaaw poor thing! Glad it was not an adult tooth.
What about a lovely picnic and walk tomorrow? weather looks not too bad for tomorrow

SIL lives an 8 hour drive away! He;s happy now he's been out for a drive.

Weird he's never noticed a missing tooth before - I mean not remotely noticed. And I'm very impressed that he knew where it was when I asked him. I also wrote hurt and sad on a piece of paper and asked him whether something hurt or whether he was sad (this was before I had noticed the missing tooth) and he pointed to hurt. So I'm impressed he knows the word!

He doesn't really do picnics- that involves sitting still but I will take him swimming in the morning.....

another glass of wine will help

jimjamshaslefttheyurt · 02/08/2008 19:54

I've had the second. Back is now seizing up, so I think I need a third

Am going to head off to bed with a portable DVD player and Dawson's Creek DVD's tonight (yes I am 37 really). I should work but am too stressed.

Am now trying to cancel dental appointment tomorrow. Proving to be difficult.
