Hypersensitive eardrum - can it affect balance?

Flamechick had her hearing test yesterday. It came back fine for hearing, but they said that her right ear is actually hypersensitive (big spike in the bouncey back sound test ).

She has poor balance, and I am just trying to work out if it is likely to be due to that, or if she is a randomly clumsy child

Balance is controled by the loops of henley?? a bit further into the ear. They are filled with fluid that moves in tandem through the loops as a person moves. I don't think that the loops (there is a proper name. I can't remember after a glass of wine)and the eardrum are connected for balance purposes as they have completely different functions.

Not loops of henley. They are semi-circular canals.
