On Monday I was in school helping and did a lot of cutting out of pretty thick card - taking ages to do. By the end of it my thumb was pretty sor. I probably should have stopped earlier but you know what it is like when you are busy. Well, I just assumed it'd pass.
Now, 2 days later my thumb is still sore. It is the pad bit of my thumb and it is a really wierd feeling. It is kind of tingly and tender to touch - not painful as such, just not comfortable. It is almost like the nerve endings are standing on edge constantly. It doesn't look ruised or swollen or anything. But it is sore when I am using it - it is my right hand so uncomfortable to write and type, which obviously at work is someting I am doign all the time.
Is it normal for it to feel like this? And for so long? And when will it go back to normal? Anything I can do to make it feel better?
