Can anyone whose DC have had single jabs recommend a place/doctor who does them in the London area?

Ideally want to use someone who has had 1st hand experience of them but none of my friends have had singles. Would really appreciate your help.

You can get information from 'jabs' think it's here they will send you a list of registered and reputable people.

i can recommend Dr Halvorsen wholeheartedly, but he is based in London. www.holbornmedicalservices.com

I haven't used single jabs myself, but I was speaking to a nurse last week about them. She said that if you do go for them, have their immunity tested afterwards to ensure they are covered.

I can't remember exactly what she said, but something about the jabs not being produced here (because they are not recommended by the NHS presumably) and not stored properly during transit may render them virtually useless.

Not trying to put you off, but I thought it worth mentioning so you could check it out. I researced into the single jabs and this wouldn't have occurred to me.

In my view as long as they are immunised, no matter how, that's what is important

I would question this as I believe jabs lists reputable and registered doctors. The caution is to make sure you go with a recommended doctor.

WOW

have just come off the phone with jabs/ My god they are helpful. I am 100x more informed and they have recommended clinics but she gave me so much more info and questions to ask.

Thank you so much

actually it does matter how.

well Dr Halvorsen is an NHS GP foxythesnowfox [though single jabs you have to pay for] and has researched the subject in depth and has also published a book on the matter so i suspect he knows a little more than your HV.
To be fair there was a clinic that a few years ago was investigated for storing single vaccines inappropriately, but there have also been similar cases in NHS practices with combined vaccines.
CrushwithEyeliner we have visited Halvorsen at his clinic for a consultation [ds has gut problems] and intend to go ahead with some single vaccines with him.

Oh I'm sure. I only mentioned it as it was a recent conversation I had and hadn't occurred to me but it has been 6 years since I made my choices about this!

sorry if i was narky, just find HV's a bit annoying sometimes!
