I took my DD to the dentist yesterday for her check-up. The dentist told me that she should have more teeth at the back by now and the ones that are there are all lumpy with ridges and have very little enamel or none at all!!!!
I am really concerned. I asked the dentist for more info and she just said that it's something that happens to some people and that she will have to take extra care of her teeth.
I haven't heard of this before. DD is a healthy happy 8year old and eats a balanced diet, she drank milk till it came out of her ears when she was smaller and still drinks at least one glass a day now. Have I done something wrong. Is she lacking in certain vitamins or minerals? I'm just wondering what has caused this (that is if something has caused it) Is there a MNetter out there who can give me any advice?
