He was ill last week with an ear infection. Trip to the docs and a quick course of abs cleared it right up and he is healthy and fab again.

Ever since, he has been to the loo a couple of times, but mostly, he shouts "I'm doing a wee wee!!!!" as he is weeing.

If his sister falls out with him, he wees, if he is upset, he wees, if he wants a wee, he wees.

Do you think that this is connected to him being ill last week?

I don't want to go back to potties and stuff, but equally, I don't want him being upset about having "accidents".

Have never had any problems with him since he was tolet trained, this is the boy who woke up from a nap in the car at the beginning of a massive traffic jam, wanting a wee but managed to hold it in for over an hour until I could stop, so I know that the control is there, just not this last week.

He's almost three, btw.

(not sure where was the correct topic for this, so have posted it in multiples topics in case the one person who knows the answer has that topic hidden grin)

Not uncommon at all and probably nothing to do with the illness. My ds1 is 4 and goes through cycles of brilliant control to seeming to have to go instantly with the occassional accident. We start the whole reward thing with him again and start reminding him to go regularly which seems to kick start his 'attention' to it again.
