I’ve been struggling, the humidity has been over 60 everyday recently, I’ve been finding it hard to breathe. I’ve got my blue inhaler but don’t want to rely on it too much.

Anyone else? Any tips?

How long did it take to work?

I can't remember but it was pretty quick. Can you talk to your pharmacist. I think the side effects are all unlikely and it has transformed my life.

Might be worth having a chat with the doctor about alternatives to the blue inhaler as most doctors don’t prescribe them in the first instance. I’m on lufobec and it’s very effective.

Definitely- I’m on that inhaler too and have upped to 3 puffs a day as the air quality is rubbish and Air con makes me cough . I thought blue inhalers were in the way out but I wouldn’t not take it - if you need it OP do it. I can do 8 puffs a day on mine if needs be.

GP prescribed Avamys nasal spray for my hayfever. God the headaches were awful. Paracetamol didn't help. Back to the GP I guess.

My GP was very cautious. Made it clear that I might need support from them if montelukast affected my mental health. She's an excellent GP.

I'm still ummimg and ahhing.

I was listening to a podcast with Dr Rubin and he was saying how it's a black box warning in the US.
