TRT and not perimenopausal?

Just wondering if anyone has managed to get trt without being over 40 and not perimenopausal?

I had my levels checked a while back and it came back super super low, main symptom is no libido... for years. GP wouldn't prescribe because apparently there is no lower limit for testosterone in females before they would help (obviously a man would get help in a heartbeat) and superdrug almost did prescribe because of my levels but then realised I'm under 40 (late 30s).

So my question is has anyone successfully been prescribed trt from a GP or managed to source some online?

As an aside, I run 3 times a week, I'm about 66kg and 5ft 10 so i dont think im unhealthy/overweight and I have a relatively good diet. Rarely drink too so I don't think any lifestyle change will help.

Thanks.

I think in the UK if you are a woman you have to be on HRT to get testosterone therapy. The only way you might be able to access it is privately and even then I am not sure. You could try DHEA supplements which you normally have to buy from overseas.

I've tried contacting private clinics and asking if they would prescribe under 40 and the answer is always super vague so I'm reluctant to pay to have them check my bloods again to then say they can't do anything.

I think you’ll have to see a private doctor in person. Are you taking hormonal contraception?

No, came off it years ago because I thought that might be affecting it.

@Usedtobechilled Perhaps someone with experience of going private might post but I also heard about Flibanserin which is touted as the "female Viagra" but it isn't approved for use in the UK yet.
