Has anyone had this treatment for dry eye or blepharitis and would you recommend it ?

What is it? I've never heard of it or had it recommended to me, and I have dry eyes.

Not heard of this treatment but I know someone who had the cold laser treatment for dry eye and found it helped.

I'm an optometrist and I went on a (funded) course last month for it.
I was very skeptical, but lots of people have blepharitis and the incidence is increasing. I'm also a prescribing optometrist and I was interested as I don't always want to prescribe antibiotics.
It was a bit like a dental hygienist treatment, less relaxing than I'd like. But actually the eye I had done is definitely less dry and itchy than the other one.

IPL? Yes, that is also good for meibomian gland dysfunction, but is more invasive.

That's interesting. Who (or where) does it, what's involved in it and who is it offered to? And how long do the effects last for?

Thank you for this. The dry eye is as a result of an eye op and the blepharitis has worsened due to eye drops. Everything I do seems to have a side effect as I’m intolerant to just about everything I’ve been prescribed. I’ve decided to have the treatment as I’m hoping it won’t be any worse than the discomfort I’m experiencing atm.
