Should I be worried? One year old with rash

My year old DD has a rash over her body. Looks like heat rash and it doesn't seem to bother her at all (not itchy).
She's teething at the moment and wondered if it could be due to this? Or is it an allergy of some kind.
Because there's no fever and rash doesn't seem to be bothering her, I'm not overly worried.
The only thing nagging me is the fact that she went to sleep at 6.30 instead of 7pm today. She's been going to bed early these days as she's not been napping well at nursery, but today she'd had a good afternoon nap.

She's had a similar rash before over her legs. I put it down to the fact that I had eaten a load of peanuts (I still bf) to see if she was allergic or not.

Any thoughts or similar experiences?
Should I be a bit more worried?

btw - have done the putting glass to skin test and the spots disappear when pressed.

Hi,

It could be a heat rash or a slight reaction to something she has eaten.

I would just wait and see how she is. If rash still there tomorrow and you're still bothered by it, then get it check out. Better to have peace of mind than to worry, even if it turns out to be nothing at all.

Thanks BionicEar.
Ended up phoning NHS Direct as she woke up crying last night. They told me that it might be an allergic reaction or a viral infection or symptom of teething (though there is no medical evidence to say teething and rashes are linked).

Anyway, she seems more herself this morning and the rash has faded.

Hope your DD is feeling better today. DS is 13 months old and gets a rash like your DDs when he has been unwell with a cold or D&V. The Dr says it is a symptom of a viral infection. But best to get medical advice if you are concerned or DD is not herself.

Thanks for asking Zebedee.
DD is a bit more herself today, though a bit whingey (probably because we cut short her nap in the car as we were visiting family today).

We have a appointment at GP's for her 12 month jabs on Tuesday so will ask about rash then, but it's more or less disappeared now
