Has anyone else got this weird symptom but it’s NOT orthostatic intolerance

My health went to pot after a covid infection four years ago. Usual story - fit, active, healthy, mild infection etc and can now do less than people decades older. One of the things that happens is I get very nauseous and get sick if I change levels or move at a normal pace. Things like walking up a hill, getting out of bed too fast, head at a lower level to my body (looking through a bag, trying to get laundry out of the basket, picking something off the floor without my grabber). I’ve done another test today which shows my orthostatic tolerance has improved (great obviously), but I’ve been getting sick even more than usual the last six months and my tolerance for minor slopes, standing too long, normal movement (e.g. getting out of bed too fast as I need a wee), levels etc has declined, meaning I’m nauseous and actually sick more often. Anyone else like this and know why? Desperately keeping my fingers crossed!

POTS , I have that and OH and all you’ve mentioned are very familiar to me

Oh and long covid / CFS

POTS and BPPV (or menieres) spring to mind. Also look at vestibular migraines.

That sounds tough :( Have you measured your BP whilst doing the things you have mentioned ?

I was diagnosed with POTS a couple of years ago, but after another lean test today, results showed normal. I haven’t done my own blood pressure when doing those things and normally have to abandon the sit to stand tests as vomit in the middle (sorry if TMI). The long covid clinic say the nausea symptom is really unusual apparently, yet lots of people with LC go on to develop POTS? Nothing was being done to treat the POTS anyway (drink more water and salt).

Just looked at menieres - I have one sided hearing loss since covid, but balance is fine apart from what I’ve said earlier. I was treated for this (sarcasm- I was actually asked have you tried holding your nose and blowing ffs).
