Fungal nail infection, Orivelle ?

I had the infection a few years ago, got it again now. I'm using Curanail, but it's taking a long time.
I'm bombarded with ads for "Orivelle" as a miracle cure.
Anyone tried it ?
Does it work ?

Thanks.

I haven't tried "Orivelle' but I can tell you what worked for me after having fungal toenails for 25 years and trying absolutely everything.

Around a year ago I bought the 'Imperial feet' range, threw away most of my shoes (I know, I know) and used the products religiously.

My absolute number one tip: Spray all shoes after wearing with the shoe spray every time and spray all socks, tights before washing every time. You have to be absolutely consistent. But here I am, the fungus has almost completely gone after all those years.

I tried Orivelle on my (admittedly very manky) toes.
I came to the conclusion it was a rip off- struggled to see any liquid actually going on my nails and no improvement at all.

Thanks, I won't bother with it.

Which products have you bought? I got the imperial foot soak to see if that helps as I use Amorolfine on the nails it was recommended by a foot specialist but is a slow process.

I got the fungal nail cream, the athletes foot lotion and, crucially, the shoe and sock spray. And yes, it takes flipping months and months to improve and slowly grow out. You have to keep on ruthlessly with it.

This might just be my body, but I also switched it up and used Amoralfine as well as the Imperial stuff and I think I overdid it because I went all nauseous. So, my advice is don't use 2 different products at the same time.

Thank you will take a look. I buy Amorolfine from an online pharmacy and they said I could use tea tree oil alongside. Started this and it was helping but then ran out and kept forgetting to apply anything. I just need to persevere and remember to do it!!!

You're welcome! Come back one day in the future and let us know how it all went!

I have a fungal toenail and am painting on 50:50 tea tree/eucalyptus oil every day and when it dries a bit I cover it with Vicks. It seems to be working. I have a nice clean bit of nail coming at the base.

WeAllHaveWings · 24/04/2026 13:22

I bought Amorolfine and it cleared it up after about 9 months of consistent use, but I must have stopped too soon as it came back after a couple of months, so now on month 5 of round two and hoping it works the same again and I will continue to do for longer this time.

I've tried Amorolfine 5% for many, many months without any improvement.
It was recommended by my GP.
What do you do apart from putting on the lacquer once (?) a week?
I've cut it right back and sanded it down before applying the lacquer but I've read where people drill holes through the nail so the lacquer actually gets to the infection underneath.
Has anyone done this?
What else do you do that you would recommend!
I'm so fed up with it!
