Whoa, did not expect a visual.

So, I wouldn't freak out about anything but I'd see the GP and take your pic with you where it would be appropriate to show them, after you have asked them first, of course.

I had, what I thought, was a huge lump and went to the GP because it was hard and immoveable. Textbook for bad things according to the internet.

No blood or any other symptoms apart from it was sore. The GP did a check in the office and then put me on a 2 week pathway for a sigmoidoscopy.

In my case, it was a haemorrhoid, but I would not be taking advice to just do nothing or diagnose yourself.

We don't know what the true diagnostic requirements are without speaking to professionals first so better to be safe than sorry but, again, don't PANIC!

Is a GP obliged to look at pictures? I tried to do an e consult but it refuses and it sends me to 111 or calling the GP receptionist.

I've had a colonoscopy after a fit test came back with blood in couple of years ago, before where after 10 weeks of waiting I was found to have nothing more then an inflammed gut (can't remember which part of the tract) but I remember the hospital being super defensive as to why the GP didn't get hands on and take a look for fissure issues prior to sending me for a colonoscopy. (I have a history of anal fissure spanning back as long as I can to remember and the last 5 weeks haven't been nice despite intentionally losing weight to help.)

Yesterday morning after passing something which nearly blocked my toilet for wanting to put it better (I've gone consistently everyday for 6 months) I passed an lot of blood then I ever have and have a pain ever since. I have pictures which I wonder if the doctor is obliged to look at before I have to repeat a colonoscopy. I'm not OP but can understand why they posted what they did.
