In ear hearing aids?

I've been diagnosed with moderate hearing loss at 39 - prob with hindsight been for many years. Picked up my first set of hearing aids couple of weeks ago, and so far they are a bit of a disaster, I get its going to take some getting used to etc, but I also wear glasses, and often have to wear a face mask at work, and between all of this am forever dislodging them/and getting so much referred noise from the mask loops/glasses etc rubbing on them, that I am struggling to even work out if they will actually be helpful or not!

I have been considering getting some in ear ones, but where do I start? It doesn't seem like the easiest thing to shop around for, so presumably just need to pick boots, or specsavers etc to go to. Is there much price variation between places? Any things I should be aware of?

I have NHS ones. I started with behind the ear ones, but struggled massively with the tubing and ultimately found it painful. I went back multiple times for adjustments and after a few months, the audiologist said that I could be recommended for in ear aids. There was a bit of a process to get someone senior to sign them off, but then I received them relatively quickly. They are much more comfortable….
