Is this dyshidrotic eczema?

I was told by my podiatrist back in July that I had athletes foot. I have posted before about this....long story short I did a too strong vinegar soak and gave myself chemical burns to my feet

It took about a month or so to heal but obviously skin very new and fragile. Ever since I keep getting flare ups of tiny weeping blisters but only on the areas where I suffered the burns. The skin starts to feel sore, it reddens, sometimes cracks or peeks and tiny blisters appear which weep pale yellow serous fluid which can crust yellow or sometimes leave a pasty egg yolk like residue (sorry, a bit grim). It also itches

I was treating it as AF, using lamisil and daktarin til doc told me to stop about 2 months ago as she thought it might be causing irritation. A swab also confirmed no fungus present. I have been using Dermol cream on it and the last 2 flare ups have cleared without the use of lamisil - further ruling out AF

On googling it appears dyshidrotic eczema can occur in recently burnt skin as it is fragile and can take up to 2 years to fully heal. This obvs fits with what's happened to me - never suffered before with any sort of eczema so hoping once my feet fully heal it'll stop occurring

If anyone suffers with this, does it look like dyshidrotic eczema? Anyone had it following burns where it disappeared once skin fully healed?

Thanks for reading and looking at the yukky foot pic!!

What did the swab say? That looks sore.

When I get dyshidrotic eczema I tend to get it on the soles of my feet and it looks more red than yellow. When I get athletes foot, it looks v similar to what you have now. However yours may be dishydrotic eczema that’s just yellow because of the burns? If they swabbed, did they check for bacteria or viruses (herpes)?

I have dishydrotic Eczema - Sometimes called pomphlox eczema.
It comes up as small blisters underneath the skin of my hands and does look a bit like what you have in between my fingers

I find Eurax and Dexeryl creams to work the best for me.

I also take fexofenadine 180 MG a day as I’m finding my histamine tolerance getting worse as I get older. I had a bad reaction for Christmas staying with relatives who used laundry liquid rather than powder I didn’t I didn’t realise liquid has so many more things you can be allergic to (Preservatives etc)
