poor little dd
It's only a month or so since she had it, but ds (who had it 2 weeks later) is pretty much spotless again, whereas she is covered in pockmarks (inc a big one right in the middle of her cheek)

I know I just need some perspective, so slaps also accepted..

Thanks Expat. DS1 had been suffering with heat rash too so that should help. Sadly he's inherited my tendency towards sensitive skin.

DD1 has really sensitive skin, too.

She always has. I went straight to Napier's in Edinburgh for some help and they suggested this.

dd was about 18 months old i think, or two? [cant remember] and still has three big pockmarks under her eye area.
she is now five.
i keep hoping they will disappear, but no signs yet.

Don't know if anyone has mentioned it yet, but pure aloe vera. Preferably buy the aloe leaf (from organic shops or local markets)..spoon out the pulp (do not get near your mouth as VERY bitter, but harmless).. and apply directly to skin. My brother had chicken pox as an adult and initally had bad scarring, but a couple of months of pure aloe vera really worked wonders.. and childrens skin heals much better than adults..
