Do you swing your arms when walking

So I was reading about someone who has Parkinson’s and they said their arm not swinging was an early symptom. Of course being the hypochondriac I am it got in my head and I am not sure if I do this when walking. I was conscious of it today and my arms were moving a bit when walking but I am wondering if I am making them move because I am focusing on it rather than it being automatic.

I know you will think I am crazy🙈

Not unless I was specifically 'going for a walk' for exercise.

If I were off to the shops / work / pub I'd probably have one hand holding the handle of a bag on my shoulder, and the other more than likely in my coat pocket.

If I were 'going for a walk' to get my blood circulating or for a bit of cardio then I would make my arms swing to increase the 'work' being done by my body.

No, me neither. You're overthinking it.

I swing my arms power walking. Normal walking? No.

I try to because it's healthier but often walk along all tense and stiff. Don't think I have Parkinsons.

Yeah I think I just fell down a rabbit hole and totally overthinking it.

Even writing it I was thinking I am losing my mind🙈

No, I don't very often. Stop overthinking it. Some of us do, some of us don't. That's all there is to it.
