I made a migraine thread but this is a new one. I just get aura but also get headaches which are not migraines. I had blood tests last week and my thyroid is extremely low ive had underachiever thyroid for years on different strengths of tablets to make it stable. I was on 125mg which was too high so they put me on 100 which made it stable. Now it's too low and they think that's why I'm getting migraines and constant headacges. I did google and it said a thyroid too low can trigger migraines and if left can lead to other symptoms. My friends daughter gad an underachiever thyroid and no doseage of medication worked a d she eventually fell into a coma and died.

This is why I am constantly tired and all I want to do is go to bed take yesterday for instance.. I woke up with a headache. Had it all day.same today. The doctor is convinced once my thyroid is stable u won't keep getting these headacges or migraines

I had no idea migraines were connected to low thyroid OP.
I've suffered from migraines off and on for many years, beginning when I was a child. Sight disturbance is always the main problem for me when I suffer a migraine.
I've had quite few recently which I've linked mainly to lack of sleep/ too much screen time and stress. But the migraine I've had over the last few days has been exceptional because of the level of total exhaustion I've experienced. I was in bed all day yesterday because of the exhaustion.
You've made me wonder about approaching my doctor about this.

An underactive thyroid (hypothyroidism) can increase the risk of migraines and is associated with headaches. This link is bidirectional, meaning hypothyroidism can trigger migraines
