Hello just as the title says my legs bother me and have always been a bit big. I feel like they have gotten bigger since my last pregnancy two years ago and a bit concerned about it getting worse. While I have definitely put on weight in the last couple of years I feel when I do ever lose weight my legs stay the same and it is getting me down! I have attached some photos

They do have some of the characteristics of lipoedema. Have you tried to lose weight to see if that makes a difference?

Moresparecashplease · 18/10/2025 11:20

My initial reaction was to say yes.
But having googled the condition I see there are other similar ones.
I definitely thing you should be seeking medical advice if you haven't already.

Actually OP just opened the full picture and I’d say yes. Sorry it’s shit x

Yes I have tried in the past lots of exercise and they toned up a little bit but don’t really get smaller. I’m trying to exercise just now but getting into a routine is a struggle with busy lifestyle… I was thinking of going to my GO for a diagnosis I have read there isn’t really treatment but even just have it confirmed would be good to have on my records.
i don’t suffer any pain with them them but my calves are getting bigger all the time and jeans are getting tight on them 😩 but baggy at the top!

Yes I would say it looks like lipodema but there's other conditions which could present in a similar way so I would definitely go to your GP

Yes this looks like typical lipoedema.
unfortunately it’s a chronic condition.
managing weight in general helps along with compression socks . There is very little the NHS can offer.
Peer support can help.
