Verruca cut out, does anyone know where?

Had a verruca that was swift lasered privately, however it came back and it’s now 3 verrucas

I just want them cut out but nobody seems to do this anymore. A clinic in London quoted £1500 which I think is ridiculous to just cut them out.

Blimey. That's a lot of money.

I haven't a clue how to answer the actual question [sorry, not helpful] but thought this might be a place to start while you keep hunting. It's low cost.

I discovered my DD had developed several at the start of lock down. Did some hunting around the internet and we bought some aloe vera gel and some neat high quality tea tree oil from Amazon. Blobbed a pea sized amount of the former and 2/3 drops of the later onto a cotton pad and stuck it on every night. They all went within 3 months and have never come back.

The foot usually.

Don’t you have a penknife?! Seriously, Bazuka and my Swiss Army knife got rid of my sons’. £1500?!

Just used the bazuka freeze tin thing on the god awful warts on my fingers.
Amazing stuff. Gone within the week.

I cut my own out with an art scalpel.

I used nail varnish and gaffa tape. V effective. Good luck!

Agree - I put those compeed plasters on with no breaks for a month and it died off after years.

My daughter had one and when I looked on the internet, it's generally considered much easier to get rid of one from children compared to adults. My child responded very well with the bazuka salicylic acid. I just filed with the emery board that came with it. I think it's gone within 1-2 months. I don't know how well it works for adults.

I don’t think the NHS typically offers cutting or freezing any more- this is because they don’t think it’s particularly effective and they know that veruccas almost always go away on their own. So although you might still find private clinics that will do it; it’s likely to be pricy and might not even work.

My DD had a whole cluster of them. We tried Bazuka but she wasn’t great at sticking with the routine thanks to ADHD (she is a young adult so I couldn’t really pin her down and do it myself 😂)

She had them for years but they weren’t hurting her so we left them (she never went sockless except in bed so she wasn’t passing them on to others). About a month ago she said ‘Oh Mum, by the way all my veruccas have gone’. They literally disappeared overnight.

The HPV that causes veruccas is very good at hiding from the body’s immune system, but once the body recognises that the virus is there, it will naturally fight back and the veruccas will go.
