I have no idea what to do. I have Covid and never felt so poorly in my life. I’m on Day 3 and have a fever, relentless nausea, body aches, fatigue, every single symptom going. It feels like a bad case of flu where I’m struggling to even take myself to the toilet.

My Mum was helping me but has just come down with it as well and my partner is abroad on work. I have nobody else to call. I don’t know what to do, any tips? For those who have had Covid recently, what day did you start to feel better? I can’t stop crying because I’m struggling so bad.

Sucks being a parent of young kids when ill. They dont understand and never let you rest. I am sick too with suspected covid, after taking care of my two older kids who were sick and then now taking care of my 5 year old and being sick myself. It sucks. And I sleep w her at night since she can wake from her fever and needs me. I take meds to help get through it. But its not as bad as when I first had covid....that time I had to hire a nanny to help, but also the youngest was like 2 at the time so a more difficult age. My suggestion is get a nanny for the day....ask friends for recommendations. You will be in the house anyway, so you can kind of keep an eye or ear on things.

Snacks, tv all day, go to bed when they go to bed, lie down on sofa whenever they are occupied.
Remember to keep your fluids up.
As soon as your husband comes home go to bed and have an uninterrupted sleep.
