DD has headlice,AGAIN.Just found them. I have almost a full bottle of Lyclear Sprayaway that I used a couple of months ago, still well within use-by date but have lost the instructions and can't remember how to use it.

Would really like to treat her tonight before school tommorrow so if anyone can help asap that would be great. TIA

Can't help, but does Lyclear work? Both of my dcs have headlice and I can't get rid of the feckers. Have been combing daily with conditioner and have used 2 different non-phosphate treatments, nothing has worked. Also bought those super duper combs in the US recently and they've still got them!
Am going crazy. Would you recommend Lyclear?

Thanks Elibean I've got instructions now, someone from another thread helped me.

Blousy,I've only ever tried Lyclear and found it to do the job just fine and it has quite a pleasant licqorice(sp) smell unlike the chemical ones I remember from childhood. It's also dead easy to apply,in a spray bottle so no mess.

Having said that, between my 2 dcs(aged 4 and 8) we have only ever have 3 episodes of lice, just a half a dozen or so lice rather than a huge outbreak so don't know what it would be like for a bad case of headlice iykwim?? there are some great reccomendations on here for headlice treatment,do a search cause loads of people have been in the same boat as you.

One good tip I picked up was hairspray is a good reppellant for lice believe it or not!!

you're better off just slathering on cheap conditioner and combing it out with a nit comb. or get a nitty gritty comb
