Sorry i dont no what u mean by optimal

Optimal are the levels that you want to be at to be exactly where they need to be to keep you in good health etc. The “perfect” level. So look at that ferritin range - it’s absolutely huge. You’d be feeling like shit at the bottom of the range but you’d be classed as “normal” by drs. Optimal would be much closer to the top end of the range.

Folate the optimal level is upper quartile of the lab range. This is usually around 15/16.

B12 is tricky because if you’ve taken anything containing supplemented B12 in the last 4 months, the blood test is a false high. If you aren’t absorbing B12, your blood levels could appear normal but your body can’t utilise it. It’s better to go by symptoms - if you eat a diet that includes occasional B12 (meat, dairy, fortified cereals, or take multivitamins etc) then you would need B12 injections.

Vitamin D - do you know if it’s was ng/ml or nmol/L? They are 2 very different ranges. 200nMol/L is considered optimal (some vitamin D groups even say 250). 200nMol/L is equivalent to 80 ng/ml I’ve just found out, so if your level is that measurement it’s almost optimal. However, in the UK they usually use the other range, so I suspect you’re a way off optimal yet.

I have got ME/CFS, bloods ok. If supplements don't help it's worth keeping a diary and seeing if there's a pattern with your tiredness. For ME/CFS one of the defining criteria is post exertional malaise (extreme fatigue that can hit a day or two after exertion).
In the meantime do what you reasonably can to avoid viral infections as they can make it so much worse.
Really hope you can get to the bottom of it and start to feel better soon

I was going to say the same.

ME/CFS very often starts with a viral infection. Have you been ill recently?

And blood tests are normal for ME/CFS patients.

But which unit of measurement? That’s crucial on vitamin D. If it’s the usual uk one you need to be at 200.. folate you said earlier was 7 or 7 point something.

several of us have told you your ferritin is too low, your vitamin D might be below optimal depending on the range, and your B12 is definitely lower than optimal. All of these things combined will make you feel awful.

I was so very, very unwell back in 2017/2018. I couldn’t believe it was “only” vitamin deficiencies - but my D and folate were below the bottom of the scale, my B12 looked higher than yours but ultimately it was B12 injections that saved me. My ferritin was borderline bottom of the scale.

The vitamin d is just says anything over 50 is normal so not sure till I get home and have a look ...
My folate yeah is 7.6
I started taking all the supplements about a week ago and still feel crop...
How long does it take...
What were your levels then for d and folate coz the docters said mine are fine and wouldn't cause symtpoms so worried it's something else is going on I.e cancer causing the fatigue

Are you just taking a multi vitamin as that won’t be enough. Try Ferrous sulphate and a high dose sublingual b12
