Burnout - any life changing self help books you've read? (Non waffley!)

Not sure if I'm on the right forum, but I'm currently off work with stress and burnout. I'm so overwhelmed and anxious, I've been completely drowning both at work and at home. Professional job, young kids.

I've been recommended some self help books by a friend but I'm finding them a really hard read as they are just so waffley and not to the point (Essentialism, and Effortless by G McKeown)

Can anyone recommend any really good, practical books that you've found massively helpful / life changing? I need it to be an easy read as I just can't focus, and find reading the same thing described in 500 different ways SO tedious - but I really want to help myself!

I've read everything self helpy but the one thing I truly benefited from, which really unlocked me and all the emotions that had got lost or messed up in my body was the novel 'burnout' by Sophie Kinsella. I actually copied the girl in the book and I'm like a different person. Id reccomend it so much Op, it's free as an audio book at the moment on Spotify and it'll keep you company in your burnout moment.

4000 weeks: time management for mortals by Oliver Burkemann was absolutely life-changing for me in terms of how I think about tasks, to-do lists and priorities

Agree with this, its a good book.
Also, its old fashioned but brilliant - self help for your nerves by Claire Weekes.

I am reading The Relaxed Woman by Nicola Jane Hobbs and so far it's excellent. It's partly a workbook, she is a psychologist who specialises in women and rest. She is also on Instagram and is worth a follow
