Been referred to have moles removed and checked. One on forearm and one on side of knee.

Been told not to exercise and drive for a good week. To allow the wound (stitches) to heal better.

Just want to hear any tips and advice

I had one removed but from top of arm so wasn't told I couldn't do anything. It did have stitches they needed to be removed though about 1 week later so on your knee I can imagine you'll need to be careful. The actual mole was removed so quick I hadn't even thought they done it 😂 just had a local

I had one done in April, it was okay. It does take a while for the area to completely heal. Mine was on my upper arm. I wasn't told not to drive though.

depends how big the area is and if muscle is involved.
sounds like it is on your arm.
near the elbow just moving it stretches the skin a lot.

be aware that your car insurance is void if you drive against medical advice.

Probably on the err of the side of caution with the excision on the outer knee as the scar will be near the bend.

I had one near my elbow. It was totally fine, but I was surprised by how deep they went. It does take some time to heal properly.

I had a BCC removed on my thigh, about 14 stitches and couldn't drive afterwards, I also walked strangely and found steps difficult because of straining the stitches. It's probably because of the one on your leg and bending it

Although my excision was quite big, it didn't really hurt as such, I had to be careful because it was a large wound. Don't want to put you off before you even have it done, I didn't even need paracetamol afterwards as they advised I might.

I’ve had three removed. I had been advised to avoid the sun / cover that area as well. Have some pain killers at home.

One was on my arm and the scar is bigger and stretched, but it’s in a position that you can’t avoid moving.
The other two are on my back, one smaller and one very large as they thought it was malignant and cut widely around the mole (not UK where I understand they will do a second, wider removal after testing if required).

Had a bcc on my eyebrow which they dug further into the area for a second time.
