Photo, peeling hands and feet. Any ideas?

The skin all over my hands peels away in patches. In the past I have had pompholyx but I wouldn’t say this is the same. It’s like the after of pompholyx without the initial itchy blisters.

It’s very ugly and unkempt looking! I avoid soaps, washing up liquid etc. I’m also avoiding hand cream in case that’s the issue.

It’s the same on my feet.

Any ideas to resolve it?

It looks like the skin on the arch and ball of my foot. I have had dishydrotic eczema in the past, but I agree with you it isn't that. No little blisters.

The only cure I have found is athlete's foot cream. I started using it 3 weeks ago and within 2-3 days the itching completely stopped. I will continue using it for a bit longer as I can't bear the thought of the itching starting up again.

I also washed my socks after one wear, and my towel and bathmat twice a week, in case I was reinfecting by those routes.
