Lots of tiny skin tags and seborrhoeic keratose especially on neck, what causes this?

For quite a number of years I have seen quite a few small Seborrhoeic keratose pop up over my chest area. I can also feel lots of tiny skin tags all over the front, sides and back of my neck. There isn't so many on the rest of my body, just this area.

I'm 52 and feel they may have become worse since being in perimenopause so I wonder if hormones exacerbate them?

I also suffer from some chronic health issues and am trying to find out if there is a connection to all of my issues. For decades I've suffered with awful digestive problems which are now a daily occurrence. Decades of gynae issues which I've recently discovered is due to endometriosis and adenomyosis. I have always been very bendy and have a lot of joint discomfort and am convinced I have joint hyper mobility or maybe even EDS (I score 8 on the Beighton scale when I've looked online).

Are these skin issues just age related things or could they be connected to anything else?

They can be related to poorly controlled blood sugar. Are you diabetic or could you be?

I did wonder as I have been excessively tired and drinking a bit more recently (although that could of course be this heat wave?). I had a full panel of bloods taken last week including HbA1c and that has come back as normal.

Menopause can increase the likelihood of skin tags. I’ve developed loads around my neck, armpits and cleavage since I went through the menopause. Never had any before. It’s definitely hormonal for me.

I googled this once when I got a few and read it can be related to being fat. (I was). Sorted them with cryotag stuff.

I have this, but they are very very small, too small for cyrotag and they seem to occur around the base of my neck where clothes rub.

Edited

I did wonder if it's a hormonal thing too.
The Seborrhoeic keratose developed during my last pregnancy 17 years ago, so hormones must have played a part then.

Damn, that's another fun symptom to add to my ever increasing list of perimenopause issues

My BMI is only 20. I have had a few larger skin tags frozen off at the GP surgery, it really hurt lol.

Yes, that's mainly where mine are located.
