Good home remedies for athlete's foot

I am suffering from a bit of athlete's foot in between my right big toe, and I can't really use antifungal creams as they are endocrine disruptors, so exacerbate my movement disorder symptoms 😫

I'm trying tea tree oil cream, as I've used it before ok. Just wondering if anyone had any other home remedies they know work please?

Lush dream cream works here. I get small patches that get sore, and this works beautifully.

Athletes foot is a fungal infection so you can do things like keeping feet dry, letting shoes dry out before wearing them again etc. but you really can't treat it without an antifungal. If you aren't able to use over the counter products I'd recommend speaking to a pharmacist or GP for treatment advice.

Yes, it is probably sensible to treat properly 😀 However, when I used miconazale and Canesten to treat thrush when breastfeeding, it gave me an acute dystonic reaction (and made my involuntary movements of my movement disorder worse), so i looked like a Parkinson's disease patient 😫😳😞

I will try the best natural remedies i can find, then if it persists in a week, I'll see the doctor.

You could ask a pharmacist if the powder would have the same impact? A cream I'd imagine would soak much further into your skin whereas the powder probably is only treating the outside. The powders do work, they just take a little longer.

Last recommendation - dry your feet with a hairdryer before applying anything, and change your shoes daily so they get to dry out fully before wearing.

One thing I also strongly recommend is to wash your socks, towels, and anything else that comes into contact with your feet with an antifungal detergent, such as Halo Sports liquid. It's available in a lot of supermarkets. Washing with an antifungal prevents reinfection. Normal antibacterial stuff don't work.

Regarding treatments that work, the only thing that ever worked for me was Lamisil Once. As the name suggests, it's a one off treatment. I don't know if the ingredients would affect you though.
