Worried, NHS or Private mole clinic?

Hi everyone, I'm very pale and ginger and have over 70 moles on my body. Some of them look really worrying and I've had a dermatology appointment with the NHS but felt my appointment was quick and she checked them with the dermascope said yeah they're fine but felt very hurried and not listened to. I've recently asked to be re referred for a second opinion and the GP said no and basically said I was paranoid. I've now booked for a second opinion with a mole clinic in another city , this has been costly and I'm absolutely terrified they will want some cutting out as I can't afford them it's 495 per excision?! I know private tend to want to get more money . I feel stuck in limbo, I can't live my life I feel like the GP won't take me seriously and then when I go private they say they can refer back to your GP if any moles need cutting out but the GP said they won't necessarily listen?! Based on their qualifications and the NHS opinion. This is so stressful, I want to cry. I'm considering cancelling my appointment privately and changing GPS I feel like I'm not being listened to. Any advise from anyone if they've done anything similar ? Thanks

The Skin Vision app analyses photos of them if you want a cheaper second opinion.

If you have lots of moles (I also have a similar amount to you) you just have to do what you can to check them and get them checked, use sunscreen, and try not to stress.

Professionals tend to be able to discount non-problematic moles very quickly with a dermascope. I’m not sure why they need to ‘listen’ beyond that

Why would you believe that an NHS doctor couldn't tell if you had a concerning skin lesion?

Most private docs are similarly skilled, so I can't see why yours would 'lie' to you.

If you desire a quicker route, by all means go private, but the ability to spot a worrying skin lesion isn't just something a private doc can ascertain. They are no better educated, if that's your concern.

My neighbour had a very worrying, large mole on his back. The NHS removed it and did a biopsy. All was well. I am sure if had gone private, it may have moved faster, but the result would have been the same.
