Hello
Can anyone help reassure me. Was reading a story on a lady diagnosed with Breast Cancer after finding a dent in her breast when raising her arm. This prompted me to look and low and behold i have one similar. I'm in the process of moving home and already stressed to the max. Have to change docs and really concerned about getting to see someone quickly. I already have existing health anxiety and this has amplified it for me. Has anyone had anything similar? Thanks.

I’d book in to see the GP just to make sure. You can pay to see a private GP perhaps if you’re far away from your old surgery now? Or perhaps explain the situation to the new one?
Do you check them regularly?

I would book a GP appointment, and whilst I don't claim to have any expertise in the area, the breast indent that I have been aware of for breast cancer is more a "spot" or small area that is altered, not a long "crease" like I see in your pic. I would think that is more a skin/muscle pulling...

Get it checked, but don't ruminate over it - easier said than done I know.

Book a GP appointment to be checked over and for Breast Clinic referral if needed. I can’t remember the exact statistics from my local clinic, but I think it is something like only 1/100 referrals ever amount to cancer being found but the quicker it’s found the better the outcome.

Just spotted you are in between doctor’s surgeries at the moment, which is the nearest one to you at the moment? You should be able to register if it’s the new area and ask for advice there.

Like another PP has said, I think it’s more like a pucker in the breast if that makes sense. But I would always get everything checked. I’ve had 3 mammograms now (at 44) because I’ve noticed something that needs checking, all have been fine but have reassured me when I’ve been worrying.
