don't think it's bothering him particularly and doesn't seem to be itchy or anything.

anything I google relating to subject just comes up with stuff about adult males and STDs.

my son had this a few years ago and it was an infection ,took him to gp and they strangely gave us antibiotic eye cream to put on it and it cleared it up.hope this helps

I wouldn't worry too much, ds1 had a couple of infections.. purely down to him keeping on playing with it.. they soon cleared up and nothings dropped off!

ah ok, will ring GP tomorrow I think.

You need to get him seen tomorrow. My son had this at the age of around 9ish months. He had a bad urine infection. No other signs just the discharge/puss.

They put him on anti-biotics straight away even before the tests were done. The doc phoned the next day to see how he was as apparently they were quite nasty bugs inhis wee! Luckily we had caught this one early so he never got any worse.

What we didn't know is that he'd had more (without discharge)...this was due to kidney reflux..his kidneys are now scarred

Not that i am suggesting for one minute that there is anything wrong with your son. Children/adults can get urine infections all the time without there being anything else wrong. But do get it checked out.

Keep an eye out for a temperature starting.
