My feet hurt to walk on them - diagnose me

Google search refuses to help me. Maybe it thinks it's a foot fetish. Anyhow - went for a 90 minute walk on Wednesday. Wolf up and when I stood up my heels felt like they were cut to ribbons - I've hardly been able to walk or put weight on them. Slightly better now but noticed they gave bruises on them. Ideas as to why?

When i had this it turned out to be tiny splinters of metal that I’d accidentally walked barefoot on. In the garage. After a workman had done some filing down of metal. Could sonerhing like that have happened, or something of that nature have got inside your boot? Especially if stored in a work type area like a garage. Almost invisible as so tiny but truly agonising.
