DD is 17m and has had diorreah for 10 days. Docs have tested for certain nasties Ecoli, salmonella, Rota virus all came back neg. After that the GP just kept telling me to withold milk and foods which we did already but made things worse and didn't seem to listen to what I was saying at all.

Have taken her to a specialist (private) who is doing more tests for parasites and fats and sugars in the feces. DD is loosing weight but no fever sickness and is relatively perky although she is getting worn down with it now and sleeping more.
Can anyone shed any light on what on earth this could be? I am desperate...

I doubt it - most of these things are passed on from another person I think. My DD got crypto from nursery I think. She was fine once she was treated.

she has been asleep for 3 hours shall i try to rouse her? I am reluctant as I think she may need this sleep

does she usually have long naps?is this normal nap time?ive no idea tbh-like you said shes probably more tired than normal.

she still has the runs but I am just keeping on doing what I have been. The consultant has been on constant phone contact with us until the tests come through. I am v worried but bearing up.
