I went for a CT scan following some awful pain on the bottom of my back feeling sick abdominal pain and a high temperature.
I was quiet unwell for a good few days and was given antibiotics and referred for the scan.
I received my results a few days ago in which my gp said there were no more stones. I then logged into my NHS account to read the full scan result and it said 'phleboliths seen in the pelvis which make evaluation of the
left UVJ more difficult' this was abit baffling as my GP had not told me about these showing up on the scan and upon googling what this meant it said they are it seems that they are a sort of clot that form in the veins in the pelvis.
When I recontact my doctor about it I received a very blunt reply that they are nothing to worry about and did not give any further advice.
I was wondering if anyone has had anything similar to this? Is it still cause of concern?

Phleboliths are small lumps of calcium that can build up in veins, particularly of the pelvis. They are common and usually inconsequential but occasionally can cause pain. Did you get diagnosed with kidney stones? If so, and you've had treatment that has relieved your symptoms then these are nothing at all to worry about. If no cause for your pain has been found then this is possibly it but it sounds unlikely given the high temperature.
