Is my T4 low? Thyroid

I can get very very fatigued, last year I noticed I was losing a lot of hair, my skin was very dry, my eyes were dry and irritated and I developed a twitch in the left one. I had blood tests, my b12 was very low, I had some injections now on oral supplements and that's now in normal range. My iron and ferritin were also low but not enough for iron transfusion, I have been on high dose supplements since last summer those levels have gone up slightly but not loads. I was tested for pernicious anaemia and that was negative.

My thyroid results came back at borderline but my GP said they're fine, but I still get very tired , my hair is thinner and my skin is still dry.

I'm 40 and still have regular periods (I am on the pill) and have diagnosed PCOS. My doctors isn't interested in treating the pcos I have one DC who I conceived without fertility treatment. I do get significant excess hair growth but was just told to pay for laser if it bothered me aesthetically!
Having read another thread here recently I wondered if anyone had any insight into my thyroid results, I know someone's NHS thresholds for treatment bear no resemblance to thresholds for actual impact on health and wellbeing.

My other thought is maybe peri menopause.

They also tested liver function, bone density, full blood count, vit d and prolactin and all normal.

I've attached thyroid results with ranges.

Personally I think your TSH is fine. I have diagnosed under active thyroid for which I take thyroxine, and I would be very happy with those numbers.

so perhaps it’s something else - hormonal seems a good bet, as you mention PCOS, but I’m not an expert

Thanks, that's good to know it was only the T4 at 10.2 I want sure about.
Looks like it's back to my GP who seems to completely disregard anything hormonal!

You'd want your FT4 in the second half of the reference range to be optimal, so yours is a tad on the low side.

Have a look at the Thyroid UK forum on www(dot)healthunlocked.com. Lots of info and support there
