panicking mum here. Son who is in his 20's has had complete Right bundle branch block from being a child - it was checked in his teens and Echo was fine. He recently had a check up as he wants to start meds for ADHD, and had an ECG and a Echo. The ECG looked fine, but he has a telephone appointment for the echo in a few weeks. I assumed that if there was nothing to worry about, they would not have sent an appointment, and would just have let his GP know. Anyone else had a telephone follow up appointment after an echo and what was the result.
Thank you!!!

If there was something to worry about they wouldn’t wait a few weeks to tell you and they wouldn’t just do it over the phone.

I get regular ECHOs due to a rare heart event and the cardiologist schedules an in-person or phone appointment to go over how things look, etc. And yes, if it the results are of major concern he would have been scheduled for an appointment within a few days. Sounds like they're looking at putting him on stimulant ADJD medication, have they suggested a non-stimulant medication? My granddaughter wasn't doing well on stimulants and is now on Qlbree and it's working well. Best of luck to him finding the right medication.

He was on ADHD meds as a teenager and then stopped. Now got a job with more admin which is stressing him out. Good luck to your grand daughter
